"Have any orders, FC?" "... oh, you mean ME?"

Last post, I mentioned that I had lead a small gang for the first time. I'd been anxious about the prospect of being a fleet commander, due to a general dissatisfaction with my own PVP skills and the fact that I felt I had no idea where to begin. Like many things that have turned out better than I expected, this particular adventure started on a whim - a few of us were bored in corp chat, someone mentioned going on a roam, and before I realized it I had responded with, "Hey, if people feel like going, I'll FC."

Before I knew it, I was sitting in a safespot in our rally system of Nourvukaiken, absently watching the fleet composition window and wondering what I'd gotten myself into. Before long, our merry little gang of Tommy and Max a pair of Drakes, Recklessness in a sniper Zealot and myself in a tackling Jaguar set out to see what kind of trouble we could cause.

Progress, not perfection.

I don't know if my PVP skill has exactly grown by leaps and bounds over the past five or six weeks, but I'm getting more comfortable with it. I've reached a few milestones that I'm pretty proud of, some of which I've wanted to do for a long time but never actually thought would happen.
